Coaching Philosophy:
"Repetition and practice are key. Practice good habits until it becomes muscle memory and confidence is built through sheer familiarity with situations. This is true both both for your form and game knowledge, if you keep getting beat by a certain play over and over again you're going to become familiar with it and have a hunch when the conditions are right for it to happen again. Biggest thing I recommend off the court is to be in contact with a volleyball as much as possible to build your 'touch' ; bump, set, roll shot, chicken-wing, kick, slap, punch, poke, headbutt, I don't care. As my previous coach said 'your whole body is a platform,' in an official game you can use any part of your body to play the ball as long as it isn't a lift or a double, and any dig that goes upwards (and hopefully is reachable by a teammate) is a good dig."
