18 ROX NATIONALS
We wanted to challenge our 14s in the pre-season by entering in 16s friendship tournaments. Since this is a new group of girls, we were not looking at our W-L record as much as playing with the line-ups every single set! We were impressed our girls didn't slip out of rotation once with the crazy lineups we put in. It also proved we have a very versatile group and can put almost anyone anywhere. Our girls still managed to win 2/3 both matches we played with the different line-ups.
The AM started out rough as we only had 7 healthy players at this tournament. However they kicked it back up in bracket play to head to the Championship! We were very happy with this group's determination in the afternoon and are excited to try and enter another 16s division tournament later in the season.
Our girls were fired up for our first all day tournament, and a little stir-crazy from all the snow days off! We started and ended strong with all our competitors today and didn't drop a set. Dealing with a lot of sickness and injuries, our girls were playing mixed positions once again. Proving to us once again the versatile group that we have.
